Organizational Diagnosis and Assessment

 

    Organizational Diagnosis and Assessment is a comprehensive analysis of every critical aspect of an organization’s behavior and infrastructure and its causal relationship to the effectiveness and efficiency of the organizations performance.  The diagnosis focuses on organizational objectives, individual objectives, how work is organized, supporting infrastructures, behavioral reinforcement characteristics, management and employee competencies, adaptability to environmental change, organizational values and norms, the degree and causes of customer satisfaction, the degree employees are engaged in improvement of organizational performance, style of organizational leadership, organizational communication vehicles, regulatory compliance management, physical appearance, customer and supplier perceptions, safety, etc.

 

    This present state information is then compared to "industry best practices" to identify organizational gaps or improvement opportunities.  As a result of this activity, recommendations for organizational change can be validly scoped out and discussed.  Organizational diagnosis and assessment is not something for beginners or internal personnel - it is best performed by an external outside resource like Misty River Consulting.
